THE ORGANISATION.

 

The idea behind this conference is from a passion to see this industry progress.  This is derived from many sources essentially the sustainability of biomass based polymers and the strong desire to move away from reliance on less earth friendly crude oil based products.  Our mission with Biopolymer World is to facilitate and help the industry move forward in this endeavour.

One of our companies, TPR International (www.TPRinternational.com) within our group of organizations has been involved in worldwide research and analysis in scientific, regulatory, technical, patent and business information for almost 20 years.  TPR works with many of the top Fortune 500 companies as well as SMEs.  The information researchers all come from large corporations where they have worked and gained experience for many years.  Of course, biopolymers and biomass based products highlight in their work in more recent years.  TPR is not involved in R&D, manufacturing or selling of any such materials, but focuses on the provision of customized and unbiased worldwide information aspects only.  The development of these materials and the future success of this industry are of great interest to this group. 

Our information research group, as well as our other groups that have special focus areas in industry users/forum planning and related conferences, have decided to come together to put into effect the consistent feedback they have been receiving.  One of the action points has resulted in the international forum, Biopolymer World Congress with the inaugural meeting being held April 2012 in Italy - Mestre, Venice.
